Terry and David both reside in Santa Maria, CA, on the beautiful Central Coast. Both work full time in the music industry. When not developing a television commercial or designing a background score for a film, Rackley and Lawless compose for Boosey and Hawkes, a London production library that leases their music for commercial use around the globe. Both have backgrounds as performers as well as composers. They have written for and have access to full choirs, chamber groups, orchestras, pop/rock bands, jazz groups, soloists and voiceover artists.

Working from their newly constructed recording studio, built from the ground up, specifically for their own needs. They use cutting edge computer recording and sound design capability. The studio is stocked with vintage analog instruments as well as one of the largest selections of digital and virtual instruments on the West Coast. Soundproof, isolated live recording of traditional instruments is comfortable and quickly set up. Rackley and Lawless also have a compact 32 track mobile recording system. Projects of various sizes can be done directly with the client in the studio, on remote location or via internet. Their compositions are distributed worldwide and are known for unique textures, modern harmonic content, melodic flow, contemporary edge and sonic excellence.
